Ashley is my second referral from Cooper & Chockley Orthodontics. And she rocked. She was cute, sweet and up for anything I had in mind (like standing in the middle of the street!). We wanted to capture that beautiful smile and that infectious laugh and all it took was some misplaced comments from me that were totally taken out of context to get her to burst out. Ashley and Michelle, I had a blast with you guys regardless of the heat and traffic and hope to see you again sometime!
Meet the Wileys. They live in Russia but were home for the summer and are headed back in less than a week. I had the privilege of meeting them one afternoon in the park. They did not want one posed picture which made this girl happy! And they were full of ideas of their own. Plus, we realized we were at the same college at the same time so we had an instant connection. I had a blast shooting these pics...enjoy! By the way, this kid is ADORABLE...
Like I said...they were full of their own ideas!
Wow. Posting this just reminded me of why I love what I do. Meeting new people, getting to know them, capturing their personalities and sharing it with you is more fun than one person should be allowed to have. I love it!
I love those moments when someone says, "Oh, I wish I had my camera!" And you turn to see what they see and lucky for you, you have your camera. That happens to me a lot except I'm always the one with the camera within reach hoping I'll be lucky enough to catch the subtle moments of life. This was one of those times. Steph had to leave lunch early and Caleb was just learning to walk. You can see the confidence he has in his step and the unfaltering trust he has that his mama is leading him in the right direction...no doubt she is.
This is my cousin's youngest kid. I see him at every family function. And by every family function, I mean anytime you could possibly think of celebrating life, we do it. I like that about us. Tradition is a good thing. Makin' memories is even better. Anyway, this is Blaine and he is adorable. Every time I see him I want to squeeze him, hug him and eat him up just so those blue eyes can melt my heart. I think that means one thing...I am an adult or old or something like that. Actually I don't care what it means, as long as I get to see those blue eyes light up then my heart is happy. Plus, I already know that I'm the coolest aunt out there. Just ask my nephews.
Ava is simply adorable and I thoroughly enjoyed my time in the park with her. She was so laid back, handling the outfit change halfway through the shoot with pure ease. She played, ran, put flowers in her mouth, showed off her precious dimple and lit up when she saw her daddy. She was a joy and I am thankful to have met her. Here's a sneak peek for her mom, dad and grandma. Enjoy!
I am thankful everyday for those who pledged and continue to pledge their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor. They risked it all so we could live in the greatest country ever.
This is Lacey. She was first a co-worker but now a friend. In fact, we've been friends for 3 campaign cycles. And in the world of politics, that means we've been friends for almost 6 years. Sorry. It's election season and I can't help but speak in these terms.
Lacey is beautiful. She gives of her heart and pocketbook without thinking twice and she is fiercely loyal. She loves her dog, would do anything for you if you are lucky enough to call her your friend and buys like one pair of shoes a day. She also buys me shoes, but then again I am lucky enough to call her my friend.
